The move comes on the heels of a council decision late last year to adopt a bill that allows more and larger ohanas in residential districts. Planning Director Michele McLean said Wednesday that her department is considering drafting a proposal to increase the size of a second farm dwelling, often called an ohana, from 1,000 square feet to 1,500 square feet.
